Providence Health Plan is calling a Manager Product Management who will: Be accountable for Providence Health Plan's technical product management across all lines of business and all markets (geographies) Have a focus on one or multiple lines of business with expected familiarity across the other lines of business to create redundancy among the team Be responsible for clearly defining product requirements, ensuring requirements are understood by internal and external stakeholders and ensuring product data accuracy at the source of truth Be accountable for filing products, which encompasses a highly complex and detailed system of requirements to ensure 100% accuracy Support detailed benefit requirements and deliverables for the full life cycle of the product portfolio including but not limited too: Product and benefit scenario analysis Ensuring all products meet the appropriate actuarial value requirements Understanding of operational impact Business decision documentation Developing and maintaining the product data sources of truth Management and submission of the product and benefit segments of the regulatory filings Creation and distribution of product and benefit documentation Auditing benefit information internally and externally to ensure product and benefit source of truth is accurate and available to support all channels and stakeholders Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the organization Have or will develop enough knowledge to understand if/how medical policy, ICD-10 (or current version) codes impact line-item benefits Performs technical assessment of capabilities and of potential product vendor partners Support selected vendor partners technical product/benefit needs Be responsible for a highly detailed understanding and expertise of product and benefit function and operation across the portfolio Provide support and thought-partnership to all stakeholders and team members supporting the successful annual life-cycle and delivery of the portfolios Demonstrate a methodical and detailed orientation approach to all work Maintain effective and efficient working relationships with relevant teams and functions, including the Product and Marketing, Sales, Finance, Compliance and operational teams Providence Health Plan welcomes 100% remote work for applicants who reside in one of the following States: Washington Oregon California Please note the following important detail regarding this role: This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience 5+ years of experience working with teams and staff of various capacities, approaches and work styles 5+ years of experience facilitating meetings 5+ years of experience working in an environment with shifting priorities requiring flexibility and the ability to prioritize work 5+ years of experience supporting scenario and impact analysis in support of product portfolio and benefit planning and change impact 5+ years of experience working with regulatory tools and standards for assigned line(s) of business 5+ years of experience working with systems and applications utilized to support administration and delivery of products & benefits (i.e. facets)
