Providence Health Plan is calling a Manager Clinical Pharmacy who will: Lead pharmacy clinical quality including pharmacy appeals and pharmacy network provider collaboration in utilization management Be responsible for management and supervision of the Pharmacy Department's Technical & Clinical Help Desk operations Be Responsible for collaboration and coordination of Pharmacy Programs with key leadership throughout all of Providence Health and Services Manage and direct daily pharmacy department operations including support for benefit administration, utilization management programs, clinical quality and safety projects, claims reimbursement and provider and member facing outreach programs Be responsible for developing, analyzing and providing consultation on pharmacy department outcomes Have direct reports including: Clinical Pharmacy Specialists, Operations Coordinators, Project Coordinators, Operations Training Coordinators and Certified Pharmacy Technicians responsible for clinical and operational support Foster, develop, and maintain key working relationships throughout all regions and ministries in Providence Health and Services with common goal of providing high quality, affordable pharmacy programs and services to members and patients in all areas where Providence serves out the Mission We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States / Regions: Washington Oregon Required qualifications for this position include: Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy PharmD -OR- Master's Degree Pharmacy with residency -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience Oregon Pharmacist License Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Lean and Work Out training - with at least 1 of these required within 1 year of entering position 3+ years of direct personnel management or supervisory experience in a pharmacy practice or within managed care where you demonstrated supervisory and administrative ability 5+ years of experience in ambulatory or acute care pharmacy practice which included responsibility for drug therapy evidence assessment and/or formulary management as well as direct consultation and presentation of medication information to physicians and/or patients Preferred qualifications for this position include: Managed Care pharmacy practice experience Experience in Real Time Benefit Tool (RTBT) and Electronic Prior Authorization (EPA) optimization solutions Why Join Providence?
