Position The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI). Responsibilities *Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and SWI instructions; wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for the curing process, to form composite parts *Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor *Verify materials being used are according to the manufacturing plan *Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed *Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements Required Qualifications *Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps *Ability to read and understand detailed instructions *Acute attention to detail *Excellent hand-eye coordination *Excellent interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications *Basic understanding of process specifications *Basic math skills Education *High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in composite manufacturing is a plus.
