Division Information PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA, utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector. The Team The Salesforce COE at the Information Technology division located on in Renton, Washington. The Salesforce COE supports global initiatives and provides support to all our Salesforce Orgs. We support by ensuring org health, maximizing product/license utilization, and support project initiatives by working closely with our Salesforce Development Center. The Role As a Salesforce Intern you will contribute to our Salesforce ecosystem's efficiency and effectiveness. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including product and license management, invoice handling, Purchase Request and Purchase Order creation, project and maintenance support, coordination with global business units, and participation in AGILE/Scrum methodologies. Job Responsibilities & Projects 1. Product and License Management: Assist in managing Salesforce licenses to ensure compliance and optimization. Maintain an inventory of Salesforce licenses, tracking expiration dates and renewals. Work with the team to identify opportunities for cost savings and license optimization. Assist in coordinating Salesforce updates, installations, and customizations. 2. Receiving Invoices: Receive and review invoices related to Salesforce licenses, products, and services. Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of invoices. 3. Creating Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders: Prepare Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders for project resources, Salesforce licenses, and other procurement needs. Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for purchase requisitions. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. 4. Project and Maintenance Support: Support ongoing Salesforce projects and maintenance tasks, including data updates and custom configuration. Assist in troubleshooting Salesforce-related issues and coordinating resolution efforts. Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines. 5. Coordinating Support with Global Business Units: Collaborate with global business units to understand their Salesforce-related needs and requirements. Provide support and coordinate activities related to Salesforce product and license management across various locations. 6. Working and Participating in AGILE/Scrum: Work as part of a cross-functional Salesforce team using AGILE/Scrum methodologies. Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Assist with tasks such as user story creation, testing, and documentation.
