PACCAR is seeking a Data enthusiast to join the Master Data Management (MDM) team. MDM team is responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralized and consistent repository of critical business data, such as customer information and product data, across an organization. Their primary tasks include data governance, data quality assurance, data integration, and ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for informed decision-making and operational efficiency. About the Team As an Associate MDM Engineer Intern, you will work with a highly skilled team of MDM engineers with different backgrounds. The Master Data Management (MDM) team plays a pivotal role in harmonizing and standardizing essential data across an organization, ensuring data integrity and quality. They collaborate with various departments to define data governance policies, maintain a single source of truth, and improve data-related processes to support data-driven decision-making. Their work involves data cleansing, matching, de-duplication, and continuous data quality management. You will be a key member of the Master Data Management squad within the MDM Platforms working closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated squad members responsible for delivering specific business goals. Job Responsibilities & Projects As an Associate MDM Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our MDM team to gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing our Master Data Management processes. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of MDM systems and solutions. Participating in data modeling, data cleansing, data consolidation, and data integration tasks. Supporting data quality initiatives and conducting data profiling and validation. Collaborating with senior MDM engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Contributing to testing, documentation, and training materials for MDM processes. Required Experience & Skills Data Management Knowledge: A basic understanding of data management principles, including data quality, data governance, and data integration.
