PACCAR Inc. Inbound Logistics Manager in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary PACCAR Parts is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to manage the transportation functions for PACCAR Parts North America. The position will collaborate with Operations, Corporate Logistics, and PACCAR Parts Logistics to continuously monitor carriers' cost and service. The position will continuously analyze processes for areas of improvement. Job Functions / Responsibilities Manages logistics and transportation functions for PACCAR Parts North America, including support for international shipments, inbound freight movement, and outbound freight movements. Coaches and develops staff to achieve goals and results within the department. Performs logistics analysis for operations, sales, marketing, warranty, etc. Liaison between Corporate Logistics, Operations, PACCAR Parts Logistics and other stakeholders to scope, design, and implement collaborative business process improvements. Monitors freight carrier performance for the division. Monitor freight payment process to ensure carriers are paid within payment terms. Develops and maintains process for freight claim management. Develop fact-based, data-driven measurements of business performance in collaboration with the business owners. Responds to all PPD Supplier, Carrier, and Dealer questions regarding freight movement. Other functions as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management related field required MBA preferred 5+ years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management required Previous experience managing a team Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office apps including MS Access, MS Power Point, and advanced MS Excel. Highly motivated & self-directed Strong understanding of Data Analytics with experience in Data Warehouse reporting. Ability to interface professionally with all levels & functions of the organization. Exceptional attention to detail & highly organized. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $96,700 - $136,290annually.
