  • OEC Group is currently looking for experienced candidates who are interested in the Logistics/Supply chain industry.

  • The Import Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper and timely movement of shipments.

Our Operations Trainer, leads each class and tailors the curriculum based on prior experience, knowledge, and targeted position. During training you will be provided with several resources to assist you with the learning process including test modules, weekly quizzes, informational sessions, group activities, and individual review time. OEC?s Freight School holds courses monthly, with each course running anywhere from 1-4 weeks.

About the Position

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments on a daily basis.

  • Conducts an AMS Download on a daily basis.

  • Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our system (Freightstream).

  • Maintains effective communication with customers, vendors, other OEC offices, and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and verbal contact.

  • Monitoring of reports on a daily basis.

  • Ensures accurate and timely billing to customers.

  • Meets key performance indicators to support the department, branch, product and overall company goals.

  • Understands the operational process flow and constantly seeking improved ways for efficiency.

  • Reports workflow progress to Management on a frequent basis.

Seattle Office 8:30 am ? 5:00 pm PST

Education & Experience

Associate's degree and six months to one year of related experience. Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
