Ocean Beauty Seafoods Food Service Sales Representative in Renton, Washington
*Our distribution center in Renton, WA is looking to hire a Bilingual Food Service Sales Representative! * This position generates sales through telephone calls and in-person presentations to existing and new food service customers as well as maintains daily communication and follow-up with accounts. Pay ranges from $60,000 - $90,000, depending on experience with unlimited commissions potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets or exceeds pre-established goals for gross margin and sales dollars
- Generates new accounts by in person Cold Calling
- Grow sales with existing customers through sampling, merchandising, and in person calls.
- Promotes slow moving products.
- Prepares invoices with proper prices, codes and abbreviations.
- Provides excellent customer service
- Obtain and document customers' product specifications to assure expectations are met.
- Works with each account to determine convenience of calls and delivery times
- Provides new product/market information to each customer
- Builds and maintains long term relationships with customers.
- Maintains thorough account information and updates account profiles as needed.
- Reports customer update and other pertinent information to Seattle Dist Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
- Follows all company safety policies and procedures.
- Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three (3) years sales experience in food related industry required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Requires an individual with strong negotiation and organizational skills, and excellent customer relations skills.
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
Must have working knowledge of quality control, production and costing.
Must be able to prioritize tasks, handle constant interruption from telephone and staff, and remain flexible to meet changing priorities on a daily basis.
