Boeing is hiring for an Entry Level Technical Designer to work on Electrical Sub-Systems at our Renton, WA location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards.

  • Uses basic design tools to prepare documentation and incorporates basic design changes.

  • Supports systems design by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and completing assigned tasks.

  • Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.

  • Works under close supervision.

This position is expected to be hybrid, onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite 2-3 days/week at the Renton, WA location

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Associate's Degree or related certification and 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Experience working in a diverse team environment

  • Experience in a role that required strong oral and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Experience using one or more of the following Tools - CADDS, MAPPER, TOOLBOX, WIRS, Equipment Manager, and Capital Logic

  • Functional testing experience

  • Experience in any airplane systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience)
