Moseley Technical Services, Inc. Engineer - Test III in Renton, Washington

Engineer- Test III Renton, WA Contract Position $65.08 - $78.75/Hour Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and report on avionics development, qualification, and acceptance testing. Perform or oversee testing, ensuring accuracy and safety in an Environmental/EMI lab environment. Analyze test data to identify root causes of failures and mitigate risks during test execution. Collaborate with internal and external labs for efficient test execution and support. Assist in the development of test equipment and perform hardware requirements traceability and verification. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Experience: 6+ years of experience in hardware development, integration, systems engineering, and/or testing. 2+ years of experience planning and executing electronics testing and reporting results. Proficiency in hardware requirements traceability and verification. Strong practical and analytical understanding of analog and digital electronics. Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with standards such as RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-461. Experience with sensors like LVDTs, RTDs, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and accelerometers. Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and Linux. Experience configuring and troubleshooting test networks, programming microcontrollers, and using Git for software development. Graduate degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering.
