Job Summary:

A Dock & Drink Food Runner will be responsible for submitting guest menu selection and presenting these food and beverage options. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Dock & Drink Food Runner will engage in conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment for all. In summary, our Food Runner is mainly responsible for servicing food and beverage to include the order taking and delivery of any food and beverage items within our seasonal venue. To be successful, our Dock & Drink Food Runner will perform in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Wage Information:

The salary for this position is $20.29 per hour plus applicable tips.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

· Refined verbal communication skills (for menu presentation, promotions, engaging with guests, and interacting with colleagues, etc).

· Confidence in knowledge of menu and beverage (alcohol, beer and wine) offerings.

· Attention to detail in all aspects of the role (as it relates to service, pre and post shift work, cash handling).

· Ability to foster a positive working relationship with departmental and support role colleagues to enhance teamwork.

· Minimum of one-year previous F&B serving experience in either fine dining to family style dining.

· Knowledge of POS and reservations systems.

· Available to work all shifts, including weekends.

· Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
