PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world. This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers. Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.
The Customer Service Representative's primary function is to provide a high level of support to our network of Kenworth and Peterbilt Dealers by trouble-shooting any order issues and supporting a variety of inquiries received via web and phone. These requests are related to order placement, order modification, expediting, shipping, availability and pricing.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Advise Dealers concerning order status and changes, shipping information, product availability, product programs, and pricing policies.
Negotiate vendor availability and lead times based on Dealer needs
Resolve issues pertaining to shipments, expediting and special order handling while providing a high level of service
Special Projects as needed
High school diploma required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Two or more years of experience in a fast-paced, Customer Service environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong Negotiation skills
Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
Relationship building and de-escalation skills
Strong technical skills and ability to maneuver through multiple programs utilizing dual monitors
Ability to think outside of the box and make decisions in ambiguous situations
Highly attentive to details
Demonstrated ability to follow up on tasks until they are brought to closure
French or Spanish language a plus
