Northwest Center Custodial Operations Manager in Renton, Washington

Northwest Center is now hiring a Custodial Operations Manager to join our Integrated Facilities Services team! The Custodial Operations Manager will oversee the management of service contract projects by directly managing Operations Supervisors and indirectly managing Custodians, Ground Maintenance personnel, and other Contract personnel. We are seeking a customer service-focused custodial supervisor interested in working in a diverse and inclusive environment.  Location: Greater Puget Sound Region

Schedule: Monday - Friday 

Wage Range: *$28.80 - $42.00 Per Hour *

Essential Functions

  • Assist the Lead Custodians in meeting quality expectations and maintenance of positive relationships with Contract customers
  • Maintain tool and supply inventory for all contracts
  • Design and supervise training and evaluation of all employees regarding job performance, safety, customer service, and business procedures
  • Work with the IFS and Marketing teams, assist in developing short-term and long-term marketing plans for IFS Division
  • Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of all state law, agency policies and procedures, and contract requirements; ensure compliance by all personnel with all agency policies and procedures
  • Manage routine personnel functions including recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and employee development, performance evaluations, and terminations

Requirements

  • 5 years supervisory experience in similar sized projects
  • The interest and ability to work directly with disabled adults, creating a positive environment
  • Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people of all ethnicities, disabilities, and communication barriers
  • Valid drivers license
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and in cooperation with all staff, management, and team members
  • Basic understanding of computer applications and experience with MS Office products
