Boeing Warranty is currently seeking a Contract Administration Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in Renton, WA .

The candidate selected for this position will work as a Regional Manager in Boeing Warranty to support Claims Administration and Customer Support activities. We are looking for a candidate that exhibits strong communication and organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Disposition Boeing customer warranty claims, including making contractual warranty determinations, securing alignment among all stakeholders, and authorizing financial remedies within delegated authority

  • Analyze, validate, and authorize the statement of work and contractual business position associated with the correction of warrantable defects

  • Ensure all available facts and data are reviewed to substantiate the company position and provide a comprehensive disposition to customers

  • Coordinate with peers, airlines, and internal organizations to evaluate and recommend action to resolve warranty items

  • Provide customer information and insight to Boeing Sales, Customer Support and Fleet Chief Office, and Airplane Programs, by anticipating issues and assisting in the development of customer solutions

  • Develop and recommend pro forma agreement and template letter revisions to senior leadership and creates new documents to support the business plan

  • Participate and lead team efforts to develop, create, and revise policy and procedure documents for the Warranty organization

  • Interpret and facilitate contract dispute resolution pertaining to supplier/partner warranty obligations to customers in order to resolve customer concerns and obtain contractual remedies for customers

  • Analyze industry trends and advancements in warranty claims management practices

  • Provide customer support through training and relationship building

  • Travel as needed to resolve warranty and customer support issues

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

  • 1+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business related function including but not limited to: Contracts, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Warranty, and/or Program Management

  • Experience in project management, process management, work management, problem solving and metric design and development desired

  • Experience using strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to negotiate successfully, at all organizational levels, particularly given the need to work on a cross-functional basis

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Associate): $72,250 - $97,750

Summary pay range (Mid-Level): $83,300 - $112,700
