Providence is calling an Accounting Manager who will: Play a key role in ensuring the shared services functions for the overall system are functioning properly Be responsible for working closely with the other finance shared services teams to ensure that all shared services functions are operating effectively across the system Be in regular communication with various business partners ensuring sufficient knowledge and background to thoroughly and efficiently monitor the processes and address any Controls related issues Work in a distributed environment and lead the timely identification and resolution of issues Prepare financial statements within a shared services model, utilizing a third party Will be charged with effectively executing any service related issues Will support setup of new processes or workstreams Be closely aligned with other system finance teams and other system shared services functions Work closely with the regional finance teams Maintain impartiality and the highest integrity in all that you do Providence welcomes 100% remote work for applicants who reside in the following region: Western Washington Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience 8 years' experience in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in a shared services environment Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field Upon hire: Active CPA license Experience in a not-for-profit and/or healthcare organization Why Join Providence?
