Coding Dojo UI/UX Frontend Development Instructor in Remote, Washington

UI/UX Frontend Development Instructor - This position is full-time and remote working overnight hours in the US with students in the Saudi Arabia time zone.

The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise and be a current practitioner in relevant technical disciplines.

  • Create the content/curriculum of the UI/UX Frontend Development program.

  • Deliver instruction on UI/UX Frontend Development and related topics.

  • Facilitate group discussions, demos, and in-class remote activities.

  • Follow industry trends for UI/UX Frontend Development and other related technologies.

  • Play a hands-on role in curriculum development, use what you learn from working with students to make the curriculum world-class.

  • Gather and report on student metrics.

  • Work alongside Coding Dojo's Online Instruction team to deliver remote training.

  • Participate in professional training, so you stay fresh.

  • Responsible for potential deployment with any/multiple Coding Dojo clients with the ability to flex work and tasks based on client needs and requests.

Required Education, Experience, Abilities

  • BS degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Software Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

  • Experience as an instructor/trainer including planning, scheduling, and delivering UI/UX Frontend Development and related training programs and materials.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.

  • Minimum 3+ years of working experience on UI/UX with Frontend Development.

  • Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile UI/UX.

  • Experience with typography, colors, layouts, grids, style guides; strong design skills

  • High level of experience with design thinking.

  • Expertise working with tools used to design and prototype solutions including Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Design Suite.

  • Teaching and leading teams experience a big plus.

  • A combo of design, technology, and education in your background is preferred.
