PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $30.19-$36.78 hourly. The full Pay Range is $23.42-$43.56 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As a Sr Mortgage Loan Disclosure Services Specialist at BECU, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring loan quality and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will directly impact our members’ satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate loan processing. You’ll be an essential part of the team, bringing your knowledge of mortgage fulfillment to streamline processes, enhance compliance, and mentor colleagues. Your contributions will foster both individual growth and the collective success of BECU.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Ensure Compliance Excellence: Prepare and review initial and revised Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and Post-Closing Disclosures, ensuring all timelines and regulations are met.
Enhance Loan Accuracy: Validate locked loan data to confirm adherence to program requirements, collaborating with Secondary Marketing and Loan Officers on any necessary adjustments.
Monitor Settlement Statements: Ensure timely receipt of final settlement statements in compliance with TRID regulations.
Resolve Closing Differences: Review closing documents for discrepancies, issue revised documents, and process member refunds as needed.
Stay Ahead of Guidelines: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy changes, regulatory updates, and investor requirements to ensure best practices.
Master Mortgage Programs: Apply thorough knowledge of first mortgage lending, including federal and state regulations, agency requirements, and specialized loan programs.
Drive Process Improvements: Identify and assist with implementing improvements in compliance and processing timeliness within the Mortgage Fulfillment area.
Organize Digital Records: Review, label, and file images using consistent naming conventions in the Imaging Center.
Support Document Management: Upload documents from the Central Home Loans inbox to loan files and manage outgoing mail for initial disclosures and decline letters.
Mentor Team Members: Share your expertise by training and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
Adapt and Contribute: Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in business or equivalent related experience required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in mortgage lending required.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in processing, funding, or post-closing of conventional, FHA and VA Mortgage loans preferred.
Prior use of a loan origination system and successful completion of courses or seminars relating to mortgage banking processing required.
Proficient math skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and provide customer service.
Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
