PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $142,800.00-$174,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $111,000.00 - $206,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Project Management at BECU, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and inspire a team of project managers, driving critical decisions that shape the success of our enterprise initiatives. Your leadership will ensure that our Enterprise Program and Project Management Office (EPMO) not only meets but exceeds business objectives, creating a lasting impact on our organization. You'll be the guiding force behind our project methodologies, continuously improving processes to deliver excellence. At BECU, your expertise and innovative ideas will help us navigate complex projects, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement across the organization.

Work location: Remote work within TX, GA, WA, AZ, SC, OR and ID

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop EPMO Methodology: Shape and define the enterprise wide EPMO methodology, ensuring best practices, governance, and standards are consistently applied across teams, enabling seamless project execution.

  • Lead with Vision: Provide thought leadership in project management methodologies, inspiring and educating others to adopt innovative practices that drive our mission forward.

  • Enhance Frameworks: Oversee the continuous improvement of both Waterfall and Agile frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that project and product delivery processes are efficient and effective.

  • Champion Change Management: Lead organizational change management efforts, ensuring that EPMO initiatives and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) practices evolve to meet the dynamic needs of BECU.

  • Empower Your Team: Manage and mentor a team of project managers, providing the guidance, support, and development they need to thrive and deliver successful projects.

  • Deliver Results: Ensure that all projects and products within the BECU portfolio are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Mitigate Risks: Identify potential project risks early on, and develop strategic plans to mitigate these risks, ensuring the smooth execution of all initiatives.

  • Ensure Auditability: Maintain the integrity and auditability of all projects and products, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

  • Be the Escalation Point: Act as the primary point of escalation for the EPMO, helping to remove organizational impediments and support the successful delivery of projects.

  • Engage Stakeholders: Provide regular portfolio reviews for stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Produce Impactful Reports: Generate and deliver reports that provide insights into project progress, helping guide decision-making at all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree computer science, business administration or other related discipline, or equivalent education or work experience

  • Minimum 3 years of people leader experience

  • Minimum 5 years of related functional experience. Previous experience managing projects, programs, or portfolios.

  • Experience in software development processes, with experience in both Waterfall and project management methodology and Scrum framework.

  • Experience in delivering large/complex projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change management.

  • Experience in developing and improving a program and project management organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • Experience driving organizational change efforts.

  • Proficient management and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and to gather and analyze information skillfully required.
