Information Technology Strategies Senior Java Developer in Remote, Washington
Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Java Developer to work for our company.
Summary:
Client Agency is DLA
This is a HYBRID position and will require some onsite work.
Must currently reside within a commutable distance from one of the following four locations.
Washington, DC
Layton, Utah
New Cumberland, Pennsylvania
Battle Creek, Michigan
Responsible for the design and development of technical solutions using open-source technologies, managing projects and teams.
Must use strong programming skills in Java, and have deep experience in developing web services, has previous worked with IBM mainframes, XML, building document management applications, and working with IBM WebSphere and Oracle Middleware.
Requirements:
Must be able to successfully complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) and obtain a SECRET / TOP SECRET / IT-II clearance. Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies.
10+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) delivering enterprise solutions in JAVA, Web, backend/frontend development, REST/Web Services. Expertise in conceptualizing, designing, developing, administering, and supporting technical solutions and integrations using open-source technologies such as Java/J2EE technology stacks, Angular, and JavaScript.
Experience in Research, analyze and recommend software products.
Strong experience in all the phases of software development life cycle, Agile and Waterfall.
Strong Programming Skills in designing and implementation of multi-tier applications using Java, J2EE, JDBC, HTML, HTTPS, JavaScript, JavaBeans, EJB, JNDI, JSON, Oracle Fusion Middleware (OIM, OAM, OID), Oracle Reports, and ICAM.
Experience in developing Web Services and REST services using SOAP, WSDL, XML, and API for Enterprise Application Integration.
Good at problem-solving and debugging techniques, root cause analysis, and solved many analytical and code-level problems.
Good at Client interaction skills and proven experience working in a team and individually.
Strong communication & relationship management skills, enthusiastic & self-driven, with a high degree of commitment. Proficient in Oracle Middleware, Oracle Reports, and some knowledge of SSO.
Experience with Web: Java, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, SOA, REST, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, Design Patterns, JNDI, IBM MQ Series, XML, JavaScript, JSON, HTML
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Eclipse.
Preferred:
Experience with Application Servers: IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Fusion Middleware
Experience Databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
