Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary: As an Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with our veterinarians to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your role will include anesthesia, surgical assistance, and dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgeries and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation

• Provide anesthesia support and manage patient recovery

• Perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs

• Lead and mentor a team of veterinary assistants, providing guidance and training

• Work closely with veterinarians to perform patient assessments and provide quality care

• Ensure proper documentation of patient records, including treatment and procedures

• Help manage clinic workflow, ensuring efficiency and patient care standards are met

• Educate clients on at-home care, preventive treatments, and health concerns

• Maintain medical equipment and inventory, ensuring everything is in working order

• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in all treatment areas

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Veterinary Technician (LVT)

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A positive, compassionate attitude and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of animals and their families
