UX Designer 2 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated UX Designer 2 for an opportunity in Redmond WA Position Title: UX Designer 2 Location: Redmond WA, Fully Remote Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Type: Contract and Remote (Anywhere in USA) Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: Job Responsibilities: * Ability to create and execute high quality design work consistent with the visual style developed in collaboration the Art Director and UX Director * Create in-game UI assets. * Effectively manage multiple assignments with varying end dates simultaneously Qualifications: HARD SKILLS * BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or similar * 3+ years in UI artist role or similar on AAA titles * Strong understanding of UI and graphic design (layout/composition, typography, iconography) * Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other visual design and wire framing tools * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Up to date with the latest UI trends, design trends, techniques Other desirable qualifications: BEST CANDIDATE * Experience with 3D modeling software, Adobe After Effects, Perforce * Experience with animation/motion graphics.
