We are looking for a collaborative User Researcher 2 to join the Power Platform studio. The rapid growth of the Microsoft Power Platform is fueled by organizations across the globe investing in the low-code/no-code development model to accelerate their AI and digital transformation, and to create next generation of tools through radically simplified experiences and without requiring extensive and costly training. Our success depends on teams that include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can challenge each other's assumptions with fresh perspective. We are a diverse team of researchers that come from various research backgrounds that include both academia and industry.

One way that our team supports the democratization of technology is in the creation and support of a larger ecosystem around our products. The Success at Scale team is involved in creating experiences that help individuals and companies learn about our products, learn how to use them, and collaborate with others across the world to grow their skills and practices. This can range from training materials to conferences to support tools, and a number of points beyond. As researchers, we are customer obsessed and advocate for our customers in the design and development process for these tools and offerings.

Our studio brings together talented individuals to co-create experiences that matter for everyone. We are big advocates of systems thinking and human centered design. We partner with world class Product Managers, Data Scientists, Developers, Designers, and Researchers who strategize together on ambiguous and ambitious challenges to bridge the tech skills gap facing the world today through product releases, technological challenges, and ongoing customer feedback. Researchers are pivotal to guiding the creation of solutions that are relentlessly simple, intuitive, and humanistic. You can learn more about our digital transformation efforts and various initiatives to democratize tech for everyone here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/digital-transformation.

We are looking for a storyteller who inspires change at all stages of product development by delivering engaging, insightful, and action-oriented recommendations that are easy to digest and act upon. You will build a deep understanding of users, competition and market, and conduct analyses in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will improve products by uncovering actionable insights for the existing offering, as well as gaps, needs, and opportunities to guide future investments.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
