This UX Research position will partner with other researchers in the organization to help the team build customer empathy, and a user-centered approaches for this organization. Your work will accelerate this research team's reputation as world-class, by delivering creative, agile, and strategic research outcomes which directly impact. Job Responsibilities: * Design and conduct primary research to understand customer needs, pain points, and unmet needs, and evaluate user experience concepts, prototypes, and experiences to influence your program area. * Bring insights to life to inspire our Design and Engineering organizations to focus on the right problems to solve * Employ appropriate research methodologies and be able to make smart choices on best research technique to use based on business goals and timelines * Produce impactful artifacts generated from research findings which are visually rich and bring clarity to the space being studied * Own the customer findings in your areas of coverage and evangelize the customer to design and engineering teams * Develop research plans for your assigned areas, and build consensus with team members Qualifications: * Min of 3-4 years working in a UX research role * Forming a broad set of expertise across a range of methods - usability studies, baseline studies/benchmark, surveys, customer interviews, and heuristic analysis * Experience summarizing data, performing statistical analysis on structured data sets, and analyzing/looking for patterns in unstructured data. Ability to rapidly compile statistics, and look for patterns in data * Deep analytical and synthesis skills (both qualitative and quantitative) with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights * Experience with modern research tools such as dscout, Qualtrics, UT.com{target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"} and/or UserZoom is a bonus * Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and strong attention to visual details Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1.) Minimum 5-8 years experience with usability research method / usability testing. 2.) Minimum 5-8 years experience with moderating/ interviewing skills. 3.) Minimum 5-8 years experience with stakeholder management and strong presentations skills Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 5-8 overall years of experience in the field. Manager is willing to be flexible with the amount of years for very strong candidates. * Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. However, a degree in Human computer interaction or user research methods is preferred. * Disqualifiers: Candidates with Market researchers are not a good match for this position and will not be eligible for the role.
