What you will do
Join our team as a Biomedical Equipment Technician and become the go-to expert for diagnosing and repairing our industry-leading medical device products. In this onsite role at one of our repair sites or service centers, you'll tackle mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using proven procedures. You'll perform maintenance, testing, and calibration to ensure products are operating at peak performance. By analyzing failure trends and preparing detailed reports, you'll help drive continuous improvement. While there’s minimal direct client contact, you'll collaborate with field technicians to gain valuable insights for diagnostics and repair. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm
Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electronic components, sub-assemblies, and instruments using approved practices and procedures.
Follow established process documents, test procedures, and other criteria to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Inspect assemblies for quality defect, ensuring adherence to specifications, workmanship standards, and test procedures.
Troubleshoot a variety of assemblies, including sub-assemblies, and work closely with engineering to resolve technical problems and conduct defect analysis. Repairs may extend to the component level.
Verify and maintain test equipment calibration, ensuring compliance with calibration requirements through the Calibration Lab.
Maintain equipment logs, complete maintenance reports accurately, and ensure proper calibration and operation of all tools.
Provide technical support to production lines, assisting with assembly or troubleshooting delays, diagnosing issues with engineering teams, and training or supporting team members as needed.
Actively contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), document repairs and failures in a database, and participate in continuous quality improvements and other related duties as assigned.
What you need-
Required:
Associate’s degree or 4 years’ experience in electronic technician or electro-mechanical experience
2 years of electronic technician or electro-mechanical experience
Knowledge of related practices, processes and procedures to operate a variety of electronic test equipment
Experience with troubleshooting and repair fundamentals
Experience in understanding business process and computer systems
Experience reading and understanding schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Experience using Microsoft applications
$21.58 - $37.96 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
