Provide technical expertise and consumer insights to drive digital transformation. Engage in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, maintenance, or other integrated solutions of Microsoft products. Promote adoption of technology by helping users optimize specialized solutions, which may include the demonstration of features beyond core functionality, dissemination of technical information on complex applications, and guidance regarding best practice adoption. Serve as a subject matter expert in a pre- or post-sales production environment and resolve any complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Coordinate with stakeholders to assess utilization of Microsoft technologies and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and integration of solutions. Troubleshoot frontline technical readiness and process compliance to accelerate scalability. Advise stakeholders on the installation and support related to systems, networks, or data communications technologies and conduct related product capability assessments and validation. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements, which involves rapid prototyping or product demonstration. May collaborate with cross functional teams to research market conditions to gather information and determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign. May analyze information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.  Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from any location in mainland U.S.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • EXPERIENCE: Six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience designing, implementing, and/or testing computer software and/or networks.
  • SPECIFIC SKILLS: This position also requires six years of experience with EPC call flows, Perl or Python scripting, and GPT2 and OFCP protocols; five years of experience with Wireshark and script development for Landslide load generator; two years of experience with 4G LTE wireless network architecture; and one year of experience with 5G SA architecture including SMF and UPF messaging and call flows to adjacent nodes such as AMF, CHF, NRF, NEF, PCF.

     

*Pay Range and Benefits Information: * The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSJASK16094D), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the mainland U.S.), is $152,000 to $182,000.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
