Microsofts Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the worlds computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Circular Cloud Supply Chain Team is responsible for the end to end reverse logistics of the Cloud data center infrastructure assets. This includes the design, build, and operations of our Circular Centers. Additionally, we are responsible for channel creation and disposition of the end of life assets to optimize reuse, repurpose and value recovery. We are central to meeting the goals of the Waste pillar of Microsofts Sustainability initiatives. We are looking for a Technical Program manager who has a passion for making a difference and will develop and maintain the Circular Cloud supply and demand planner.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager who must be a self-starter with proven skills in driving key initiatives with results through engagement with stakeholders and partners and have business acumen. The candidate will be a problem solver and be resourceful, creative, and willing to work with and through others to be successful. Ability to work with and manipulate data to support decision making and operations is a must.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Program Manager, your responsibilites will include:

  • Ensure accuracy of the data and resolving accuracy issues systemically.

  • Program Management for data integrity, connectivity, and quality assurance across the various data and engineering systems that support the operations of our end of life decommissioning facilities also known as Circular Centers.

  • Collaboration with our upstream and downstream channel management for supply and demand planning through fulfilment

  • Partner with various responsible organizations to lead continuous improvement for business and system integration and automation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, project management, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced data analytics skills and background, knowledge of tools from Excel to Power Business Intelligence.

  • Exposure to Supply chain, operations, engineering and business planning experience preferred

  • Exposure to Sustainability or the Circular Economy would be a plus

  • Demonstrated experience in using data to drive decisions and process improvements

  • Ability to lead analysis studies in multiple areas and lead project definition and recommendations.

  • Self-starter with demonstrated analytical skills; demonstrated business judgement and acumen

  • Experience in Technology/Cloud Computing sector is beneficial.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
