About the role : We are part of the Sovereign Cloud Security team and are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help scale critical security programs and services. You will enhance cloud security by developing data, telemetry, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights and drive teams to achieve results. Your role will involve continuously raising the bar on Microsoft's security and meeting the needs of our most demanding customers with specialized security requirements. Responsibilities
Define and articulate the objectives and success criteria for large, cross-organizational programs.
Collaborate with and influence partner teams and stakeholders to execute programs, achieving defined goals and delivering results.
Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for excellence and optimization in current operations.
Participate in an on-call team to manage customer engagements, inquiries, and escalations, working with the broader security organization to resolve issues.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or currently pursuing).
OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Screening: Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar engineering discipline, AND 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team execution experience in engineering or product/technical program management.
OR equivalent.
Technical Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.
