We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Technical Program Manager (TPM), Systems to join our AR Glasses team. Required Skills:
Technical Program Manager, Systems Responsibilities:
Work closely with engineering, product management, architecture, operations, and other teams to drive and track the investigation, definition, and delivery of advanced products.
Develop strategies and schedules for development, delivery, and qualification based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead times, and business needs.
Oversee communication between internal engineering teams and external vendors.
Collaborate with teams to establish milestones, provide program updates, and proactively identify and address potential challenges.
Lead engineering teams in resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate across functions to establish best practices and technology development processes in a fast-evolving environment, ensuring timely delivery.
Oversee engineering builds from initial prototyping to qualification builds.
Ensure program documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible for both staff and leadership review.
Contribute to resource planning and budget oversight to ensure the successful execution of the program.
Travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally, depending on program requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of experience as a Program Manager, overseeing hardware system programs from concept to mass production for consumer electronic devices.
Experience with the phase gate process for managing technology development projects.
Experience with component and module qualification, validation, and characterization processes.
Knowledge of program issue/bug tracking and risk management.
Experience in communication and collaborating with technical teams.
Experience in problem-solving and organizational management.
Experience in fostering relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Experience overseeing complex system builds in a contract manufacturing environment.
Public Compensation:
$195,000/year to $267,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
