The Azure Networking team continues to innovate across the network stack, pushing new scale and features into the cloud while transforming our datacenter infrastructure to meet the growing needs 200-plus Microsoft online services, including Copilot, Bing, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and several hundred thousand customers using Azure to host and run their Cloud Services in hundreds of datacenters, running millions of servers and edge computing nodes all over the world.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to collect requirements, create end-to-end program plans, specifications, success metrics, production qualification plans, and drive the program execution to completeness.

  • You will drive your feature area with accountability and create clarity with partners and stakeholders.

  • You will prioritize your backlog and feature dependencies across teams to make sure features land on time and with high quality.

  • You will actively drive and present program plans, status and reviews with the team, partners, and leadership.

  • You will contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Azure Networking.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 1+ year experience in Data Center Technologies, including a solid understanding of networking protocols, performance, and related technologies.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise specifications, playbooks, and executive reports.

  • Problem-solving skills with a ability to address technical challenges effectively.

  • Experience in software development.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
