The CO+I Engineering team (CO+IE) delivers services, applications, and automation supporting datacenter planning, construction, and operation. We own a large portfolio of services, including workflows that enable predicable, lowest cost datacenter construction, telemetry systems that drive high availability and optimized energy usage, and task and performance management applications that help our operation run as efficiently as possible. The Technical Program Manager of Critical Infrastructure Delivery will deliver complex network infrastructure projects, working with multi-faceted teams (full time employees and vendor staff) and have technical depth and experience in delivering bare metal infrastructure at scale, in operational environments. The successful candidate will be a team player, possess communication and collaboration skills, and have the ability to effectively manage and solve problems in alignment to standards and schedule. The role partners closely with colleagues, engineering and other infrastructure and operational teams, along with key decision makers across geographic and organizational boundaries, while maintaining excellence in installation of network infrastructure for high security networks in datacenters and other spaces.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with hardware Engineering to design technical solutions deployable in the field. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-driven mitigations.

  • You’ll define success criteria and create relationships for implementing field deployments for complex cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across organizations.

  • You will deliver on roadmaps for multiple bare metal field delivery pillars, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation plans, and ensure reporting data is in place to support governance programs.

  • You’ll lead teams to partner with other departments to collect performance metrics, drive customer support, and lead direct field engagements.

  • Manage relationships and expectations with various business stakeholders across CO+I.

  • Create and contribute to processes, procedures, and tools to drive continuous improvements in execution.

  • Participate in regular and annual planning strategies, including budget, contract execution that encompasses current and future scope commitments.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in technical program management,

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 4+ year(s) of experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning abilities.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
