Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity:
Provide technical support, guidance, or training related to Microsoft technologies. Resolve critical issues in a timely manner with a focus on incident resolution that includes root cause analysis, prevention, and subsequent knowledge transfer. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment related issues. Develop and implement support strategies resulting in fewer incidents, increased availability, or accelerated deployments. Create lifecycle technical documentations, customer-specific training documentation, and customized education sessions. Collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate and report updates to project stakeholders. Implement innovative solutions and drive initiatives or projects with a particular focus on continuous improvement plans to support operational needs, cost efficiency, and improved customer experience. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 24 months of technical consulting and/or technical software support experience.
- Experience: 36 months of technical consulting and/or technical software support experience.
- Education or Experience in: Customer Relationship; Escalation Management; Security, incident detection and response; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Human languages and/or cultures; Reporting; and Azure Services.
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (V13874002), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $108,440 to $138,440 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
