Job Description:
This position is responsible for support development and manufacturing of Client products.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for the aerospace industry.
Experience with PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics
Experience with common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.)
Proven track record of delivering results on time.
Experience supporting the development of space based systems.
Experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
Strong communication skills with the ability to review and develop written instructions, document work performed, and follow up with engineers and management as needed.
Degree or certificate in related field
Current or recently expired certification in IPC soldering standards including 7711/7721, J-STD, and J-STD Space Applications.
Daily tasks performed:
Follow ESD safe protocols and safe handling techniques when handling sensitive electronic assemblies.
Perform circuit board inspection, circuit rework/modification, cable harness fabrication, electronic box assembly, and electrical signal measurement.
Assemble first article electronic test racks, test fixtures, and associated wiring.
Perform first article conformal coat/staking inspections and document deviations.
Review pre-release work instructions and make recommendations for improved work definition.
Maintain EE Dev Lab: solder stations, order/stock consumables, track assets, and monitor/update/close EHD Jira tickets.
Validate and maintain ESD workstations and ESD Protected Areas (EPA"s).
Identify and address safety issues in the lab.
