Job Title: Support Engineer 5

Location: Remote (US)

Pay Range: 35-45/hr Depending on years of experience

40.00 hrs/week; M-F shift will be 8-5 or 9-6 PST or EST depending on the need. Candidates must be flexible to support both

  1. Enterprise Customer Service / Technical Support | 1 years of experience

  2. Spark | 3 years of experience (MUST HAVE)

  3. Python | 3 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the customer support experience with Microsoft

• Own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams (e.g. swarming)

• identify cases that require escalation (either technically or strategically)

• Create and maintain incident management requests to product group or engineering group

• Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help assets to improve customer and engineer experience

• Provide ramp activities, knowledge sharing, technical coaching, and mentoring

• Drive technical collaboration and engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering teams, Services, Support, Regions)

• Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles; may be workload or specialty specific

Skills:

• Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: 3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience degree is required to be eligible for this role.

• Disqualifiers: Candidates with no spark or python experience will not be eligible for the role.

• Experience with any Azure Big Data Technologies

• Microsoft Technology Certifications - Azure data engineering, azure networking certification

• (Nice to have) Azure Networking Skills |1+ years of experience
