Job Description: Create, align, and execute sourcing and category strategies to continuously re-evaluate and optimize Microsoft's enterprise-wide logistical functions or supply chain. Evaluate metrics and processes, such as best value, supplier cost competitiveness, and product lifecycle including continuity of fulfillment and supply, and supply-base development and oversight. Collaborate with cross functional teams to aggregate the diverse demands of Microsoft's businesses and identify, develop, manage, and optimize suppliers, systems, processes, and organizational capabilities and capacity. Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, or related workers involved in procuring materials, products, or services. Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support business verticals. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Logistics; Logistical Science; Supply Chain Management; Industrial Engineering; or related degrees.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Six (6) months of experience in supply planning and/or supply data management experience, including forecasting, analysis, and improvement.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: This role requires education or experience in: Supply Chain Management; Power-Bi Data Visualization; Root Cause Analysis; and Negotiation Skills. This position also requires at least six (6) months of experience in Communication Skills; Relationship Management; and Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools, or policies.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code: TSKBW17982a), in Redmond, WA is $136,261.00 to $166,261.00.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
