We have an opening for a full-time SUPERVISOR, SHIFT-HRLY/Beverage* *position.
Location: 1 Microsoft Way B11/2059 Redmond WA 98052 /Note: online applications accepted only./
Schedule: F/T: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Requirement: State Food Handler's Permit and Valid Driver's License required.

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Ensure customer engagements are at the highest level—all service and quality standards are exceeded on a daily basis
Collaborate with Managers to organize day to day logistics, including coverage, kitchen audits and moving product from storages
Understand and demonstrate knowledge of all presentation standards (Planograms)
Thorough understanding of Tour Readiness to properly execute expectations
Communicate effectively (written and verbal form) with customers, team and various Lines of Business
Thorough understanding of Handheld and demonstrated ability to train others.
Facilitate training program of new associates, to include MS Beverage processes and procedures
Develop associates through training, promoting associate advancement
Participate in all performance coaching and counseling for associates
Address challenges as they arise through proper protocol, management channels and escalation paths
Identify areas of opportunity and implement plans for process improvement
Review departmental labor reports on a daily basis to ensure fiscal accountability
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Compass policies and applicable laws
Driving is required - following all Compass driving, parking rules and procedures
Follow all Microsoft parking rules and speed limits
Follow all WSDOT rules and regulations
Maintain clean and safe work environment; performs job safely – oversees Beverage Safety Committee, coordinating monthly meetings with associate
Perform other duties as assigned.
