Stryker's Emergency Care Division is seeking to hire a Staff Project Engineer to serve as a key project leader, motivated problem solver, and relationship builder with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members.

This role is hybrid, based in Redmond, WA with the expectation to come into the office a 3 days a week.

What you will do:

The Staff Project Engineer will lead a cross-functional engineering team in the planning, coordinating, monitoring and execution of new and current medical device projects.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining the design performance of legacy products in the field as well as design enhancements for additional product performance

  • Lead a cross-functional engineering team on a technical program or may function as project manager on small projects to develop new medical devices or accessories.

  • Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

  • Accountable for meeting project scope, milestones and cost objectives.

  • Provide timely project status reports and other communications to management and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules in collaboration with other functional teams.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

What you need:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; in engineering or technical discipline

  • 3+ years of project leadership, technical project management, technical leadership, project engineering, or relevant experience

  • 1+ year of engineering experience in product development
