Description

We are seeking a contract Staff Accountant for a client of ours located in Redmond, Washington, United States. This role involves performing accounting activities such as Accounts Payable, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. The position provides an opportunity for a long-term contract employment. This is a fully in office position at the Redmond location.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up new vendors in accordance with company procedures and updating related files/records.

• Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.

• Maintaining master vendor files in D365, Excel, and SharePoint.

• Communicating with other departments and vendors regarding Accounts Payable-related questions or issues.

• Maintaining assets, liabilities, bank, tax, and other financial or business records.

• Performing month-end close activities, including journal entries and AP/AR aging reconciliation.

• Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and MS D365

Requirements

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger management

• Adeptness in making Journal Entries

• Experience in conducting Month End Close operations

• Proficiency in using MS D365
