Sr. Product Marketing Manager - Compliance

With increased number of regulations around data governance, organizations are under tremendous pressure to have a proactive risk mitigation plan to meet their legal, regulatory and compliance obligations governing their data. This has resulted in risk management continuing to grow in stature becoming further embedded in the overall strategic priorities and goals of the business.

Microsoft 365 is uniquely positioned to help our commercial customers manage and mitigate their risk. It offers intelligent risk management and compliance solutions that leverage AI to help customers assess and manage their risk proactively. The Microsoft 365 compliance marketing team is looking for passionate marketer to drive awareness and demand for solutions that enable customers to protect and govern data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing strategy to drive demand for Microsoft 365 solutions with compliance officers

  • Develop strategic marketing plan to drive awareness and change perception of compliance officers

  • Deeply understand needs and challenges of privacy officers and influence product strategy to meet their unique needs to manage internal and external compliance risks.

  • Track and improve awareness of Microsoft 365 compliance solutions with compliance officers



  • 7+ years of related work experience, MBA preferred

  • 5-7 years of product marketing management or technology marketing roles

  • Knowledge in enterprise risk management, compliance, Information Protection, Data Governance, Information Management, and/or Data Lifecycle Management preferred

  • Highly motivated, technology savvy with passion for risk management/compliance/data governance business solutions and the ability to work in a fast-paced disruptive environment

  • Able to generate high-impact ideas, manage multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives to completion

  • Candidate must have a proven ability to work across virtual teams and influence others

  • Great communication skills across diverse audiences, proven ability to influence and drive change through others including senior technical and business leaders
