What you'll do:

Provides support in all areas of employee relations programs. Administers approved organization-wide employee relations policies and practices. Assists in internal audits of employee relations issues and makes recommendations to resolve issues. May participate in grievance procedures and exit interviews.

Develops, implements, interprets and administers employee relations policies, programs and practices designed to maintain a positive, productive work environment. Works collaboratively with other HR employees and company stakeholders to enable desired outcomes.

Develops, implements, and manages company's employment related compliance activities.

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to general employment matters and equal opportunity. Prepares Affirmative Action Plans, assists HR Centers of Excellence and Field HR Managers in compliance requirements, audits implementation, monitors progress, and responds to audits. Prepares and files related regulatory compliance reports. Works closely with Legal & Compliance Department as required.

Oversees the production, publication, posting and maintenance of human resources policies, as required or warranted. Develops and implements policies related to Employee Relations and general HR matters. Serves as the primary owner for the HR Policies and Procedures and Employee Handbook.

Ensures policies and practices are consistent with Company's objectives and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Consults with Field HR Managers on complex employee relations matters such as leave administration and reasonable accommodations.

Assists in managing the HR investigations process for matters of serious misconduct and may conduct investigations as needed.

Participates in managing the HR communications function. Establishes communication calendar.

Prepares and publishes HR Newsletter and HR Insider. Serves as HR webmaster for Navigator.

Works closely with corporate communications and other HR functions to ensure appropriate internal HR related communications which promote employee understanding and are consistent with employment branding strategies and communications processes. Maintains HR email communications groups and distribution lists.

Prepares and analyzes a variety of reports, such as turnover. Develops and presents educational or training programs to HR employees or line managers on employee relations related topics.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university and must have 5 or more years recent experience with employer who was US government contractor, preferably a multi-establishment employer. Must have experience with development and maintenance of AAPs and in leading efforts to integrate AA efforts into operations and HR processes.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

Requires knowledge of employment related government compliance and principles, especially as it relates to government contractors. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is 150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
