Key job responsibilities

• Influence sales strategy and drive go-to-market plans for Kuiper Commercial Services.

• Design the sales processes, policies, and metrics for lead, opportunity, contract, order management, customer onboarding, and account management.

• Partner with business development, sales, and deal desk teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

• Analyze business performance, measure sales productivity, create dashboards, and report insights.

• Own, manage, and drive strategic programs from inception to delivery. Improve process efficiency and effectiveness for large, complex, and thorny projects.

• Be a trusted advisor to Executive leaders, Business Development, and Partnership Developments globally for delivering revenue for the commercial business.

• Work in collaboration with key stakeholders across Finance, Product, Legal, Regulatory, Engineering, and other Amazon teams to deliver results.

• Hire, develop, and train teams on best practices and guidelines to follow sales compensation, sales, operations, service operations, and revenue operations processes.

• Action-oriented, detailed programmatic approach to implement complex programs and strategic initiatives.

• Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and Delivers Results.

• Experience working in start-up mode building products, process, systems, and mechanisms from the ground up.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial sales strategy, go-to-market planning, operations, process improvements, program management, and/or performance management.

• 7+ years leading large, complex, strategic, and global programs that span business organizations.

• 5+ years designing sales plans, enablement material, training content, deployment and tracking mechanisms.

• 5+ years in sales program execution, driving goals, revenue targets, efficiency and productivity metrics, reporting, and tracking delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or engineering programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in technology or engineering programs.

• Highly experienced in sales strategy, sales operations, business planning, business development, account management or customer operations.

• Ability to think strategically about business challenges and develop simple but effective solutions.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize ruthlessly, and manage competing demands.

• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics.

• Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems and tools utilized for CRM, sales compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

• Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.

• Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.

• Possess solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate with cross-functional teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
