Come join us at Amazon!The Role:Build, integrate and test FPGA solutions to support Amazon Project Kuiper's satellite communication system. This is a unique opportunity to define a groundbreaking new system with few legacy constraints. The (Sr.) FPGA Integration engineer will work with multiple cross-functional teams to build/integrate/test/release FPGA based solutions to enable Project Kuiper.In this role you will:* Be responsible for integrating FPGA modules from various sources, design new RTL code, and deliver FPGA releases post simulation validation, timing closure and lab test.* Work with internal and external vendors to coordinate delivery of RTL code for integration and test.* Collaborate with systems architects, HW engineering design teams and FW/SW design teams to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and Networking functions.* Collaborate with Digital Communications/RF/Signal Processing system architects and design engineers to implement digital logic functions in FPGA technology* Work in engineering lab to test and debug FPGA emulated designs* Maintain existing FPGA hardware, including hardware, software, and RF debug* Assist with Programming Versal AI engines for signal processing tasks.* Run system tests on FPGA systems and analyze failures and abnormal performance* Debug logic problems as well as RF interconnection issues, must have ChipScope or SignalTap experience (Embedded FPGA debug expertise)Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, related discipline, or 7 + years of FPGA experience* 7+ years of experience in FPGA design and implementationAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
