Within the finance group, the Modern Work Emerging Growth finance team works across engineering, marketing, and sales teams to develop solutions to deliver against this journey. Our core product offerings include communications, employee experience, Desktop as a Service, and more. We provide deep business performance insights for these new and emerging workloads, perform rigorous financial and competitive analysis to assess growth opportunities, and shape near-term and long-term incubation strategy across product, GTM and business model.

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to drive revenue management efforts of Windows 365 Cloud PC, a rapidly growing incubation product in Modern Work. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, sales, and product marketing to understand early signals, develop go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities for business growth. You will play key roles in both running the day-to-day business and helping drive strategic growth for the future. If you have a proven ability to effectively influence stakeholders and navigate through ambiguity, and possess strong business intuition and analytical skills, then you are a great candidate for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business : Surface rich business health insights to highlight risks and opportunities and facilitate course correction in collaboration with business partners. Formulate investment proposals that will provide meaningful impact on resource allocation and performance management. Lead target setting efforts in close partnership with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

  • Business & compete insights: Provide thoughtful leadership to influence executive-level decision making through deep analytical insight. Drive consistency in how we measure and look at our business and opportunity holistically across Cloud PC and Azure Vitual Desktop. Research and build deep competitive insights into DaaS landscape based on internal and external data to inform competitive position and drive growth actions.

  • Deep business Partnership: Primary finance partners to the leaders within our Product Marketing and Engineering organizations, with deep ties to Sales and Field organizations.

Protect

  • Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience.

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.

  • Strong analytics and ability to summarize performance and key stories coming out of the data at the executive level.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and be able to rethink how we engage with our customers.

  • Ability to communicate data into a story, that resonates and validates our business performance, and drive for actionable insights.

  • Ability to take risk and deal with a level of ambiguity.
