Responsibilities

The Role

Commercial Solutions Execution Team helps design and enable flawless execution across our multi-billion dollar Enterprise business. As new products, offerings, and capabilities are launched through innovative business models, our Business Operations Managers are on point for identifying and developing processes to enable execution of mission critical launches. We interface with the Product Marketing Groups, field Commercial Executives and Licensing Executive communities, and ensure training & communication materials for field & partners based on the processes we create are delivered at the right time. The role will require an understanding of Microsoft Volume Licensing offerings, business models, execution processes and integration points with Finance, Worldwide Commercial Business, Global Sales Marketing and Operations, and Compliance. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role weaving together a series of Modern strategies around how we execute the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with sales teams on landing mission critical initiatives. The candidate will also have a good track record of working with a large group of internal stakeholders to design and execute strategic initiatives that need to be launched broadly. The role requires passion for excellence, intellectual curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity, proven cross-group collaboration and a high level of executive maturity. Enthusiasm for taking on big challenges, translating ambiguity into well formulated processes, and a desire to make a difference for the Volume Licensing business is needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA required, MBA preferred (Six Sigma Training a plus)

  • Deep understanding of EA execution ecosystem

  • 10+ years relevant business experience: licensing sales / sales excellence / licensing marketing / enterprise marketing

  • Strong leadership, excellent organization, planning, engagement and business talent

  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization, from executives to individual contributors

  • Strategic thinking ability

  • Strong executive communication skills both written and verbal; able to synthesize and explain complex business scenarios to executives

  • Demonstrated ability to have fun
