Honeywell Sr Account Manager, Remote in Redmond, Washington

This role may sit near a major airport; however, will work remotely.

As a Sr Account Manager for the Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) organization, you’ll be responsible to lead legacy AGL sales.

  • Lead NAM Airside sales opportunities for Airports, Airlines, and the FAA

  • Leverage local HBS sales team as needed

  • Track Government funding sources

  • Interface with FAA Office of Airports

  • Attend Airport Conferences and prearrange visits with Airport executives to generate new leads and opportunities across HAB, HBT and Aero

  • Interface with trade organizations such as ACI-NA and AAAE, including participation in work groups and committees

  • Assist with introductions for HBS NAM Landside Sales efforts

  • Liaison with AERO on Airline and other US-based opportunities

  • Work with Marketing on HON Airside messaging

  • Work with Raghu on strategic partnerships such as Synaptic Aviation, Team Eagle, H&P

  • Meet with Consultants, General Contractors and Electrical Contractors regarding HON’s airside AGL and TMAN portfolios


  • Minimum of 6 years of sales experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of airport industry experience (Airport Airside and Air Traffic operations from the perspective of airports, airlines and ANSPs (e.g., the FAA or NAVCANADA)


  • Ability to talk to people and represent HON at the C-suite, Manager and Worker levels

  • Deep industry contacts with airports, airlines, FAA and trade organizations

  • Excellent team and communication skills

  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction

  • An ability to influence across a broader organization

  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships

  • Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
