Microsoft Corporation Software Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Key Responsibilities

Own the end to end Windows Server Management components for one or more platforms.

Reproduce customer problems and come up with a fix.

Debug, fix and verify customer reported issues

Develop Test plans to ensure high quality and timely delivery of the fixes


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years software development experience

  • 1+ years of experience working in common Microsoft Specific development environments.

Preferred Qualfications:

  • Good problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent development skills

  • Strong coding skills in C/C++ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks competently

  • Experience working with native programing languages such as C/C++.

  • Experience working in modern languages such as Java, C# is a big plus

  • Prior experience/deep knowledge in Windows is a great plus.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
