We are looking to hire a Software Engineer II to join our AzureML Experiences Team. In this role, you will be working with a group of engineers who are currently working on new UI experiences that make it easier for our customers to consume LLMs for their production use. You will contribute to the design and implementation of Azure AI Studio. We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented, and collaborative Software Engineer II who has a drive for results.

You will also participate in proposing and developing innovative solutions that span across multiple layers of technologies. You will be responsible for fully understanding requirements and providing solutions that match the needs.

Responsibilities

  • Determine user requirements, create test plans, identify dependencies, estimate work, schedule deliverables.

  • Apply good coding standards and patterns.

  • Perform software development in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, React and other languages.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript or TypeScript

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of experience with React

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript or TypeScript

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript or TypeScript

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with React.

  • Understanding of Azure is a plus.

  • Experience with LLM tooling like LangChain is a plus.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
