Microsoft Corporation Software Engineer II in Redmond, Washington

We are looking for a Software Engineer II who will work on Room experience in Teams. In this role, you will create software that runs on devices or on a Desktop.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software features for Microsoft Teams Rooms devices.

  • Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define feature requirements, integrate feedback to enhance design, and establish feedback loops for continuous improvement based on customer metrics.

  • Product/Feature quality and reliability monitor and live site support. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+years industryexperience building and shipping production grade applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, and ability to be adaptable and agile in development.  

  • Programming experience with C#/C/C++ or Web development.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills.

  • Demonstrated passion for building end-user experiences.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
