About the Role
Looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to work across Embedded Firmware and Azure DevOps Pipelines to bring Surface devices to fruition.The position will be responsible for partnering closely with electrical engineers, system engineers, firmware engineers and architects for BSP integration, test definition, delivering test designs that are optimized for continuous integration and continuous development.
What you need
Strong knowledge of Operating Systems principle.
Programming skills in C and/or RUST.
6 - 10+ Years of experience and understanding of firmware design tools and languages.
Understanding of coding/development procedures on microcontrollers.
Experience with standard protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and/or wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other).
Strong problem solving and debugging skills for multi-processor systems with I2C/SPI, UART and other interconnect bus.
Continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous testing to build, test, and deliver Software Projects.
Experience in reviewing HW schematics
Working knowledge of OS primitives: memory management, scheduling, interrupts, threading and ACPI is an added advantage
Experience with GIT, JSON, Python, XML

Pay Transparency
$ 87,750 - $ 128,700
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
