The Microsoft Intune team delivers mobile device management, mobile application management and desktop computer management solutions from Azure cloud. Intune is part of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security Suite (EMS) and Microsoft 365, which is one of the fastest growing enterprise services within Microsoft.

Responsibilities

We are a group of supportive team players, working on critical and strategic projects in Intune. The projects require engineers who can deliver robust designs and code across both backend microservices and frontend experiences. In addition, engineers will be working in a fast-paced agile environment and need to be able to debug and optimize work across numerous services and teams. You will be designing, building, and running cloud services at high scale and availability to enable customers to create and target device configuration settings. You will have end-to-end ownership of scenarios that center around the customer experience and will have the opportunity to have significant impact and to hone your system design skills while working on the latest technologies in Cloud computing, and to collaborate cross team/group/org.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

  • 3+ years software engineering experience developing software

  • Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language and knowledge of object-oriented programming language paradigms

Preferred:

  • Expertise in distributed systems and/or big data technologies

  • Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills

  • Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team

  • Experience in developing large scale online services

  • Demonstrated desire and passion for meeting customer needs

  • Experience in the management and lifecycle of large numbers of systems
