Job Title: Software Design Engineer 4

Type: 6 – 18 Months contract

Pay Range: $63/hr. - $65/hr.

Location: Hybrid, Redmond

We are a high-profile multinational technology company seeking a skilled Software Design Engineer. We are looking for an innovative Sr. Software Engineer with experience building modern web applications to help us envision and develop the next version of our products, with a particular focus on AI-enabled internal customer/end-user experiences.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience with JavaScript

  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience with C#

  3. Minimum 3 years’ experience with T-SQL and/or Python

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, C#, T-SQL, and/or Python for the development of responsive web applications.

  • Experience with multiple JavaScript frameworks or control suites such as React, Vue, React Redux, and Fluent UI.

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with product development, focusing on user experiences.

  • Experience with Azure or comparable Cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of team businesses and collaborate with leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users & internal customers.

  • Stay current with the latest developments in AI/ML technologies and bring innovative ideas and insights to the team, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate technology fits for customer needs.

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the development, observability, quality, testing, and production readiness of the services you build.

  • Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through code and design reviews, and by using data/telemetry to make decisions.

  • Work and liaise between engineering and data science teams to identify gaps and propose new software solutions.

  • Focus on addressing real user and business needs.
